A walk in the woods

We’ve been trying to get out of the house more and do things on the weekends, so today we headed to the local woods for a nice Sunday afternoon walk. The pushchair wheels were a little flat so whilst daddy pumped them up it gave Clem the perfect chance to pick up some leaves, just in case there were none in the woods I guess.

I really love this jumper. The print is great, I kinda wish they did it in adult sizes. Who wouldn’t want a jumper with skateboarding dinosaurs on! I’m glad it finally almost fits her. The sleeves are a little bit long but apart from that it’s ok. This outfit is definitely very boyish but I really like it. It makes a change from all the pink I seem to keep dressing her in at the moment.

Jumper – Marks and Spencer

Trainers – Debenhams

Leggings – Stitched Up Apparel

The woods looked lovely, and being only a 15 minute walk from our house we really don’t go there enough. The leaves are all falling, the ferns were changing from green to brown and the floor was covered in pine cones. Perfect for exploring! There were even quite a few fallen trees for climbing on/ over.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Did anyone else go exploring in their local area?

How amazing are your photos!! What a lovely setting. Woods are so pretty when autumn starts 🙂 Clem looks so fab in her little outfit. The leggings have a fab print and work really well with the print on the jumper. Love a clash! How cute are her little shoes too. I’m on the hunt for a plain Black pair for Isla 🙂 Thank you so much for linking up with us and hope you’ve had a great weekend petal! #weekendministyle

Aww thank you, believe it or not they are just taken with my iPhone 6! I know, it’s crazy that it’s only 15 minutes walk from our house. The colours are fab at the moment, every where looks so pretty when the colours are changing. x

Not only loving her jumper, but leggings are fun and funky too.
Your photos are beautiful, it looks like a bit of a mystical woods, very peaceful, yet could be full of adventure, I hope you get to spend more time visiting it as it is so close, but sometimes life gets busy for us to enjoy what is on our doorsteps doesn’t it x

that is a super cute jumper 🙂 I love autumn walks and Arthur gets so excited about running in leaves haha. I’ve actually just set up a new site to share family friendly places such as walks, so that parents can find places suitable to them (e.g walks with buggy access). I’d love it if u could check out the site and if u have time, add this walk or any other places u go with Clem. Lovely post xx

Woods are the perfect setting for a photoshoot and your little bubba looks so edgy in her printed trousers and sweatshirt. She is so cute.

I love this idea, and how great did your pics turn out? It seems every time I let the baby outside to explore, there seems to be a naysayer in the wings, letting me know it’s a bad idea to let the baby explore outdoors. As long as you are vigilant and watch what your little one grabs, outdoor walks are my favorite.
We live near the beach, and you’ve inspired me to do this with my 18 month old son! Thanks!

We love waking in the woods with Lamb, he always thinks he’s going to find the Gruffalo! And the snake, and the fox, and the mouse. That jumper is fab. I would dress my daughter like that if I had one 🙂 xx
