Birthday Weekend

On Sunday it was my birthday and I turned the grand old age of 32!! I started my birthday off on Saturday night by going to The Diner in Covent Garden with a friend. We ordered a milkshake, root beer float, mac n cheese, sweet potato poutine, burger and cheese fries. It was so good that I didn’t even take a photo. After eating all of that we waddled over to my favourite cinema and watched a double bill of Mean Girls and Clueless.

I love both of those films, and despite already having seen both of them at the same cinema before we still went along. If you haven’t been to The PCC before you should. They are a great independent cinema, it’s cheap considering it’s central london and just off Leicester Square. They show a lot of older films, I can highly recommend any of their christmas showings or the sing alongs they do. They also do sleepovers and all nighters which are great too.

On Sunday, my actual birthday, after having a lazy morning we all dressed up super warm and went to Guildford for lunch and a wander around the castle in the cold. We used to live in Guildford, and although we are only 8 minutes away by train we don’t go there a lot. It’s really good for shopping although having a pushchair now makes me realise just how hilly/steep the high street is!

Despite the weather being very grey and cold we still had a good wander around thecastle. Clem loved running around and exploring the grounds. In the evening we got a takeaway from a local Thai place, and it was so good! We ate far too much food, watched Homeland and that was it. Thursday I am off to the Harry Potter Studios with another friend and I can’t wait! I am a massive harry potter fan, I’ve been before, but that was a few years ago and during the summer. This time it’s Hogwarts in the Snow and I can’t wait to see the Hogwarts express 😀

Jesse got me some lovely gifts including a few from my wish list post. I also treated myself to a few bits in Lush which I can’t wait to use. Now that my birthday is over we can start getting ready for christmas.
