Weekend Fashion 31

We are back with another weekend fashion post. The first of this weeks outfit is Clems new winter coat, we actually bought her this one from H&M but when we got home Clem immediately burst into tears and ran away from it. She did it every time I tried to get her to try it on so I took it back and found a different one in Primark, one she actually liked and would wear. A lovely warm parka.

It was in the boys section but she likes it so that’s all that matters. It’s super warm and a little bit big so it should last her a while. She wore it out the other day when we went to the park, and even kept the hood up for a while which is an achievement because usually she takes hats/hoods off straight away.

The second outfit for this week wasn’t planned at all but it totally looks it like it was. After taking the coat back to H&M I picked up some warmer winter clothes for Clem including joggers, jumpers and long-sleeved tops and dresses. This jumper was hiding behind another style but I think it’s really cute. It’s size 12-18 months but it looks massive on her so hopefully it will also last a while. Clem seems to be at an awkward stage for clothing, most 9-12 month stuff is too small but 12-18 is too big. She will just have to rock rolled up sleeves and legs for a while.

The leggings are also from H&M and I picked them up in the summer, the wellies were from Morrisons. Underneath the jumper is just a plain t-shirt. With all the rain we have had over the last few days wellies have been a must have, hopefully it will clear up for the rest of the weekend. Saturday night is our local fireworks display, we live right by the park where they set them off from so we are going to be cheeky and watch them from our balcony instead of going out into the cold. Last year Clem slept through them but I imagine this year will be very different. Every time we hear them go off (and it’s been a lot over the last few days) she says boom and raises her arms. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

We’re watching fireworks tonight too! But the weather is horrible. She’s going to need that jacket. It doesn’t matter that it’s from the boys section…it looks awesome on her! Love the sweetie jumper too. #TT_Thursday #WeekendMiniStyle

For a boys coat that is lovely and I think my daughter would also prefer it over her “girls coat”, as for her jumper its HUGE on her… I reckon it’ll last her a year, possibly 2!! haha Thank you for sharing #TT_Thursday

It’s weird because she had a 6-9 month jumper from HM and it was tiny and didn’t last her very long at all. At least this one should last a long time!x

I love that outfit, the combination goes really well. The coat looks very unisex, she looks warm and cosy in it too x #TT_Thursday #FKF

Such an adorable little girl! It’s so funny that she is already having a say in her clothes. I think she made a good choice. The Primark coat looks great on her. We have the sweetie jumper. It’s so lovely and cosy for the colder weather. Ours is big too x #weekendministyle

I’m glad it’s not just ours, she has other HM jumpers and they always seemed on the small side. x

Love that sweetie jumper! Hate that in between stage when clothes just don’t quite fit as they should.

Oh bless her getting hating the coat you originally got! They have such an opinion these days don’t they! That parka is super cute though. It really suits her. I know, so weird how she really didn’t like the coat. I’m secretly glad though because I do prefer the parka. x

The parka is fab! I buy lots of my daughter’s clothes from the boys department – sometimes they have the best stuff!
